Types of home extension

Single-storey

If you have outdoor space you don’t need, a single-storey extension could allow you to transform that space into additional indoor living space. Optimise your new space with skylight windows and bi-folding patio doors to create a bright, modern space.

Multi-storey

A multi-storey extension is going to require more time and a larger financial investment than a single-storey solution. However, it could allow you to add multiple extra rooms to your property or expand existing rooms significantly.

Ways to utilise your extension

Kitchen

Many people choose to add a new kitchen-diner to their home as part of an extension project. The natural light provided by an extension can make for a great new space for cooking, eating and entertaining guests all year round.

Living space

Alternatively, you might prefer to use your extension to create some extra living space, an entertainment room or even a spare bedroom. Whatever you choose, you can enjoy loads of extra floor space without the hassle of moving house.

Storage

Some people choose to extend their property simply because they need some extra storage space. For example, you could use your extension as a garage for storing vehicles or other belongings, keeping them secure and protected from the elements.
